In addition, colder incoming ground water allows solar water heaters to operate more efficiently.

Solar heating can provide all of your hot water during the summer months, with an average of around 50% over the year.It will reduce your impact on the environment: the average domestic system can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 0.4-0.75 tonnes (or 400-750kg) per year, depending on the fuel system it replaces.
